From 101 North take the 280 North exit just past 3Com Park. Once on 280, take the Cesar Chavez Street exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Cesar Chavez Street, then immediately get into the left lane and turn left at the next corner, which is Indiana. Three blocks later turn right onto 23rd Street. Go one block and turn left onto Tennessee St. Drive one block and turn left on Tubbs; Community At Work is on the corner -- our door faces Tubbs St., right across from the bus depot.
From Marin County:
After the GG Bridge, take the Marina exit; stay on Marina Blvd. until the Safeway. Turn right, and then one block later turn left onto Bay Street. Stay on Bay Street until it dead-ends into the Embarcadero. Turn right. Stay on Embarcadero all the way to King Street. Stay on King Street until it becomes the freeway entrance for 280 South. Once on 280 take the 25th Street exit. At the end of the ramp, turn right. Go one block on Pennsylvania and turn right onto 23rd Street. Go two blocks and turn left on Tennessee. Drive one block and turn left on Tubbs; Community At Work is on the corner -- our door faces Tubbs St., right across from the bus depot.
From Downtown SF:
Take 4th Street South until it intersects with King Street. Turn right on King Street and go straight until it becomes the freeway entrance for 280 South. Once on 280 take the 25th Street exit. From Bay Bridge:
Take 101 South to the 5th Street exit. Turn left (but not sharp left) at the bottom of the exit onto Harrison St. One block later turn left onto 6th street. Stay straight on 6th street until it becomes the freeway entrance for 280 South. Once on 280 take the 25th Street exit. At the end of the ramp, turn right. Go one block on Pennsylvania and turn right onto 23rd Street. Go two blocks and turn left on Tennessee. Drive one block and turn left on Tubbs; Community At Work is on the corner -- our door faces Tubbs St., right across from the bus depot.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION DIRECTIONS TO COMMUNITY AT WORK
- BART:
Get off at the Embarcadero stop in downtown SF. Find your way to the MUNI underground station. Take the T-Line going East towards 3rd street and the ballpark. Get off at 23rd street station. Turn left (West) onto 23rd Street, then right onto Tennessee. Community At Work will be at the end of the block, on the left, on the corner -- our door faces Tubbs St., right across from the bus depot.
-Caltrain:
Get off at the 22nd Street stop. (The stop is marked on the map above.) You will be on 22nd Street. Walking out of the station, turn right onto 22nd Street, then right again at the first block, which will be Indiana. After one very short block, turn left onto Tubbs Street. Community At Work will be at the end of the block (past the busses), on the right, on the corner.
- MUNI from west of Downtown:
Take the Southbound 22 bus (marked "3rd Street" – not "Potrero") to the last stop. You will be on 20th Street, just before Tennessee. Turn left onto Tennessee and walk 3 blocks south until the street dead ends. Take the concrete pathway that leads up the hill from the dead end. You will be on the corner of Tennessee and Tubbs. Community At Work will be just in front of you, on the right.
